Thanksgiving in the Woods by Phyllis Alsdurf is a lovely book that is based on the true story of a family who has hosted a feast in the woods on their farm for more than twenty years.
Sharing The Bread by Pat Zietlow Miller & Jill McElmurry is an old-fashioned Thanksgiving story about multiple generations working together to create a beautiful dinner.
Over the River and Through the Woods by Lydia Maria Child is a poetic story that depicts the story behind the song title.
Squanto and the Miracle of Thanksgiving by Eric Metaxas shares how God was in the details of the first Thanksgiving and how He used Squanto to bring hope to the Pilgrims.
The Thanksgiving Story by Alice Dalgliesh centers around one family during the first Thanksgiving in the Plymouth Colony.
An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving by Louisa May Alcott is as entertaining as it is thought-provoking when a family emergency leaves the children to prepare Thanksgiving dinner on their own. Has some old English words that make it better suited for older children, although I do read it to my younger children!
The New Americans by Betsy & Giulio Maestro is a pictorial textbook with a lot of interesting facts about the colonists from 1620 through 1689.

Your book list looks like a lot of books I would be interested in We like reading holiday books too. An old fashioned Thanksgiving by Louisa May Alcott is always a favorite. Many books on he Mayflower including William Bradford and Priscilla and John Alden are always a must to read.

We do have a few more chapter books about Thanksgiving that are historical, I forgot to include them in this list because I don’t typically read them during Thanksgiving week.
