Did turning 30 make you stop and think about your life? Did you reflect on the last 30 years and wonder where it all went? The days can be long, but the years are short. Time has a way of passing. Life has a way of happening.
I have to say that my upcoming 30th birthday keeps coming to mind. I keep thinking about my life and what I have/n’t done. I am sure my life looks much different now than I expected it to be 15 years ago. But, what I keep thinking about is the truths I have realized over the last 30 years.

Here are 10 simple truths I have learned in 30 years of life:
1. All of the “boring, dumb” things my parents made me do with them as a child are now some of my most precious memories.
2. Marriage is much, much harder than I ever knew or could imagine. But, it is worth fighting for!
3. Parenthood is so exhausting, but the joy my children bring me is just enough to keep me sane!
4. Life is about living for God, not ourselves.
5. Spiritual death is worse than physical death.
6. Grief is a lifetime event. It doesn’t get better, but it changes with time.
7. Inward beauty really is more important than outward beauty.
8. What God thinks of me is more important than what people think of me. This truth has pushed me to do things I never thought I could!
9. Forgiving others give you peace.
10. A simple life is not a boring life. It is very full of what matters most.

These are some wise observations! Things we all should consider 🙂
I love these! I can relate to a lot of them–especially #8! Thanks for sharing!
