My oldest wanted to make homemade frozen fruit pops, so I let him! His recipe was totally thrown together without measurements, so I will just quickly share the ingredients and the health boost options he used.
My kids loved these and have been wanting to make them again, trying new flavors of fruit and milk. Of course, we do them all dairy-free because of our son’s dairy allergy.
Add the health boost options to any blended cold or frozen treat like the ones listed below. These are great for a summertime treat and can help boost the immune system.
I love adding these supplements to smoothies for a healthy boost. My kids don’t know the difference.
Here are two of our favorite summertime recipes!

Kid-Friendly Cool Treats With A Healthy Boost

Cherry Lemon Baobab Water is the best way to hydrate after working hard in the sun! I mix it up quickly and often – We love it! Double it for larger servings.
Ingredients:
- A splash of cherry extract
- 1 tablespoon of THM baobab boost powder
- 1/4 cup sweetener (I use erythritol+stevia)
- 1/2 cup real lemon juice
- 2 quarts water
Mix together and serve over ice.

Strawberry-coconut frozen pops (or smoothie)
- Frozen Strawberries
- Unsweetened Almond Milk (next time he wants to use full-fat canned coconut milk so that it will be extra creamy)
- Raw Honey (adding raw honey to cold or frozen treats is a great way to utilize its health benefits)
Frozen Pop-Maker Set (this set is very affordable – and- this cool set makes old-fashioned popsicles like the ones from my childhood in a stainless steel mold!)
Add-ins For A Health Boost: Vitamin C Powder, Probiotics, Elderberry Syrup, THM Baobab Boost.
- Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend til smooth. Add water if needed to adjust thickness. You want it easily pourable.
- Carefully pour into Frozen Pop molds and place in the freezer until frozen through. (you can drink the leftovers like a smoothie!)
- Once completely frozen, slide out the frozen fruit pop and enjoy!
