Every four years, the USA elects a new President. Then comes Inauguration Day. I am planning a special meal for the United States of America Presidential Inauguration this year. I have also created a fun Trump Inauguration Speech BINGO game that the entire family can enjoy! As a homeschool mom, I can turn almost anything into an educational activity. Whether you homeschool or not, this is an academic and historical event, so let’s make it interesting and fun.
I think the Inauguration Dinner should be an all-American meal. When I think of true blue American food, I think of hamburgers and all of the fixings. That’s a very American meal if you ask me. But, I do think of other foods that can be considered All-American.

Inauguration Dinner Ideas
As I said above, beef hamburgers seem like the best option. We decided on the following menu for Inauguration Day:
- BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers
- home-cut fried potatoes (French fries)
- hot dogs – topped with sweet relish, sauerkraut, diced onion, ketchup, and mustard
That sounds like a real American Dinner!

I am not saying that all of the above are strictly American-only foods, but they represent us quite well. At least, for my family.
By the way, I am not promoting the typical/traditional (or, modern) way of preparing the above foods. I make healthy versions of them and recommend that you do the same! 😉
If you live in the USA, do you do anything special for Inauguration Day? Please share in the comments – and enjoy the free printable game!

Thank you so much! I was thinking of using tomorrow as a sort of virtual field trip day and was going to look for some inauguration party themed foods now I don’t have to!

I live in Perth Western Australia and plan to hold a belated, Trump Inauguration Party soon …
Your ideas and comments help..
I love Trump and what he stands for. We have Pauline Hanson in Australia (One Nation Party … search her website!) as the only true patriotic member of parliament here in Australia. The rest are the equivalent to Dems or Rinos !
God Bless America and Trump!
You are very welcome – thank you!
