The cooler weather is so refreshing after a hot summer. And the rainy season isn’t here quite yet, so the weather is just about perfect.

Sweaters, jeans, boots, hot coffee, soups, stews, pies, the scent of spices, warm & deep colors… I just love it all! Sigh…

I love the retro/vintage (1950s or earlier) style of dresses that are knee-length or longer, but they aren’t practical for me to wear while caring for my disabled children and working around the home, so I typically pair a tunic with skinny jeans/leggings and throw on a cardigan if I need extra warmth.
