Encourage. Embrace. Bloom.

In all of the years that I have had this blog and shared my heart about this or that, I was never clear about my mission and desire. Looking back, I can finally see the underlying theme of my blog and the core message I want to share. I want to encourage others to embrace this life.

Embrace This Life

Wife, homeschool mom, special needs mom, grieving mom, homemaker, child of God: I want to encourage you to fully embrace this life that God has given you and bloom into the beautiful creature that He wants you to be! I want to point you towards Jesus at every turn. I want you to know that He is all that you need.

I want you to know that no matter what you are struggling with, going through, or enduring; GOD has you in the palm of His hand. He knows all that you have been through and all that you will go through, and guess what?? He will use it ALL for your good and His glory!

Do you know that this life is but a blink in time compared to eternity? Do you know that the pain and suffering of this life is worth it? Do you know that what we consider “bad” things, are not necessarily bad at all? We experience hard things, yes… But not BAD things. How can it be bad to go through loss, hurt, and sorrow if the outcome is rebirth, renewed hope, and eternity with Jesus?

I believe that sorrow and suffering are blessings in disguise. I can look back through my own life of grief, loss, and sorrow and see what God has done through it all. I can see how He has carried me, shaped me, used it all to bring glory to His Holy name. And I know that He will continue to do so!

The state of our souls is what matter the most. If struggling through trials is what it takes to bring me to the feet of Jesus, then may it be so. It is at the feet of Jesus that I long to be!

I want to encourage you to seek & find the blessings in your day. Whether small or big, find something to be grateful for and praise God!

Embrace the here and now. Choose joy today.

Nurture and care for the life you have been given and the people you have been given to love. Cling to Jesus for strength. Bloom where you are!

2 Corinthians 4:
