So often I react instead of responding in a meek and godly manner. I need to rethink how I have been interacting with those I love most and hold most dear. I need to remember how God instructs me as a wife, mother, and His child.

I need meekness when responding to my husband. I need meekness when instructing my children. I need meekness while visiting with others.

Isn’t it amazing how clearly and simply God spells out what it means to be His child?

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33

But, we know that it is only because of, and through, Jesus Christ that we may live each day striving to be more like Him, so that we may be made perfect before God. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
