I love using my Instant Pot for pressure cooking and steaming most often. You can also use it as a slow cooker and several other things, but for this post, I am focusing on the pressure cooker function for easy dinners.
I have gathered the most frugal IP meals I could find. They are conveniently compiled here for you to enjoy and add to your meal plan. There are twenty meals total – enough for a month, excluding weekends.
I’ve included chicken, beef, and beans/meatless options. The best part is that they are all simple one-pot dishes!

Thanks Clarissa, I’m always looking for recipes for pressure cooking, but I tend to fall back on my old favourites, mince and onion with mashed potatoes usually.
I need to get out of the rut and try something new.
I have always wanted a pressure cooker.
We don’t have an instant pot yet, but I keep hearing wonderful things about them and these recipes look amazing!
Awesome!
I would love to have an instant pot to use in my new house, which is still not built yet. We had a fire in 2017 and lost nearly everything. God delivered all of us without physical injury, but my son, 18, has PTSD from the trauma. He is my hero bc he got all of us out. His name is Nate. Please pray for him. Pray for us all. We have been living in 2 RV campers for a year and a half. Thank you.
Recipes look fantastic! Your books are helpful, authentic and simple. We need more of that in the world of 50 bajillion bloggers…
I’ve been on the fence about the InstaPot; but this list of recipes all put together definitely makes me want one!
Most Instant Pot recipes can be also done in a slow cooker.
I have thought for a while that an instant pot would be a great tool. I just haven’t had the funds available to make it happen yet.
Thanks for the tips and recipe tidbits!
Thanks for this blog post and all the info!
What a great list of recipes! I hope I can get an Instant Pot soon and try some of them. I especially like the Lentil Chili and Veggie Stew!
