How I Teach Bible & Art Together
The kids all get a blank paper and coloring pencils. They color their hearts out while I read the Bible text. Easy Peasy!
I decided to start at the beginning of the Bible with the story of Creation and plan to move forward through the Bible, reading about the more prominent people/events that took place.
Of course, this also counts as History! Three subjects in one? That’s the way to go!

Creative Ways To Use Bible & Art Together
I plan to make a picture “book” (folder) using the kids’ art, one for each child. They are going to be great masterpieces & beautiful keepsakes for years to come!
We haven’t consistently done Bible & art together, but whenever the kids ask or I think of it, then we do. It helps the children to stay quiet while I read the verses and it lets them absorb the scriptures more.
I also quickly draw a picture with the kids, after I finish reading. We are all having fun with it! I love to see how the children interpret the Bible story!
