This is a Language Arts Resource List For Homeschool Moms so that you can confidently teach your children from PreK through High school. I have compiled this list through many years of homeschooling my children.
I believe in learning alongside my children as I teach them at home. I love that there are so many resources out there to utilize with my children that I do not have to rely 100% on my own knowledge!
I want to feel confident in my teaching abilities, especially as I teach the foundational subjects. I feel that language arts are one of the most important academic subjects, so I like to continue my education in this area.
While I have used a curriculum in the past that taught me as I taught my children, it is not always practical to spend the higher amount on a program for my students just because it has that added benefit of training the teacher. Seeking quick resources makes more sense for busy moms!

I know that academics are not everything. And I actually do not believe in a strict and (extremely) rigorous homeschool schedule as much as I used to.
I want my kids to love learning and to think of it as part of our lifestyle. That is why I am teaching myself first – or alongside my children – so that I can then incorporate it naturally into our homeschool routine – which is really just our life!
I have learned to relax over the years and appreciate all types of teaching and learning styles – we use textbooks for this subject, hands-on experience for that subject, online classes here, and interest-based classes there. 😉
Homeschooling is more about educating myself first and then gently implementing what I learn as I parent my children! They are best taught by example, and showing them how to be lifelong learners is my hope.
