Mike’s Inspiration Station ~ 12-DVD set of art lessons. The kids enjoy watching these and drawing along with Mike. He is very encouraging and even quotes scriptures. Holds the attention of preschoolers through middle schoolers. Great for “art class”.

See The Light Art Class ~ More to-the-point and instructional than Mike’s lessons, but great for elementary and older ages. DVDs for beginners and advanced artists.

Home Economics & Life Skills

Homesteading for Beginners ~ Follow along with a family as they learn/teach the homesteading lifestyle! From canning, milking, and maple syrup, to butchering animals and gardening. Great “Home Ec” or “life skills” curriculum elective or for families starting their own homestead.

Economics For Everybody ~ Meant as a high school level course but worth watching as a family even if your child doesn’t need it for high school credit! A combo of history and personal/corporate finance lessons.

Foreign Language, English Vocabulary

Word-Up The Vocab Show ~ Fun feature that teaches Greek, Latin, & English root words and vocabulary. More entertaining than anything, but is educational, too! The Visual Latin course is great for actually learning Latin.

History

The American Heritage Series ~ With Historian David Barton. “Discover the forgotten and astonishing story of our nation’s foundation in the American Heritage Series.” For older kids and adults, since the younger kids may find it boring. But, if you like history and/or knowing the truth about our country, then you’ll enjoy these DVDs!

Drive-Thru History Series ~ Explore the world and learn its history with Dave Stotts. Hilarious, adventurous, spectacular, and beautiful filming of places around the world narrated and hosted by a down-to-earth guy! Available as episodes or DVD movies.

Liberty’s Kids ~ An animated series about the birth of the United States of America.  Not specifically Christian, but wholesome. A great film and fun to watch!

Science

The Moody Institute of Science Set ~ Absolutely amazing in-depth, entertaining, and timeless set of Creation-based science videos that will be enjoyed by the entire family! We LOVE them and have watched them many times!

Buddy Davis’ Amazing Adventures ~ Fun, creation-based science movies that take you on nature expeditions and adventures! With music, songs, jokes, and real-life animal facts, too.

Awesome Science With Noah Justice ~ Definitely awesome Young-Earth, Creation-Science series hosted by a young kid. Relatable, truthful (Bible-based), and interesting for adults, too!

Music

Cedarmont Kids Sing ~ These are fun and get the kids singing and moving! Several movies to choose – from toddlers to elementary ages and silly to gospel songs.

Bible

Moore Family Films ~ ABC Say It With Me is a family favorite! Learn Bible verses through little stories and songs featuring the Moore Family!

Bible Adventures ~ A classic 1950’s series, featuring “Mr. Fixit reading & sharing stories from the Bible with children in his workshop.
