I got to watch this movie before it releases in theaters, so that I could tell you all of the reasons why you should go watch it! Christian homeschool graduates and their families have come together to produce an amazing action-packed adventure that will impress any history lover! Beyond the Mask is a film from Burns Family Studios and will be in theaters April 6th… but only if YOU buy tickets online NOW.
You see, they have over 700 theaters lined up, but the theaters will only play the movie if they get a set number of tickets pre-sold for the movie! Each theater needs to sell about 65 tickets so that this Christian movie will be played across the nation.
With all of the less-than-godly films in theaters and coming out of Hollywood, we need to support the efforts of those who put their God-given talents to work producing quality Christian films. The story behind this film is inspiring and such a breath of fresh air.
The story behind this film accurately portrays Christian homeschooling families and their desire to allow their children to grow up to be hardworking and creative adults. It is a message of hope and encouragement to the young families striving to raise their children in the way of the Lord, while believing in their children’s talents and strengths. This is proof that allowing your children to study and learn according to their interests is truly beneficial and can lead to strong, confident adults.
About The Film
Set in the late 1700’s, this film takes place just prior to the Revolutionary War between the colonies and Britain. It is a story of redemption and love. It is a story that points to Christ as the answer to everything, especially the answer to a shameful past.
It is beautifully done, with high quality pictures, sound/special affects, and action. The acting was very well done, as well. It has a touch of humor and features a (clean) love story. It takes you from Britain to the Colonies in America. I loved that Benjamin Franklin was one of the characters, he is always a fun addition to movies for this time era (in my opinion). We enjoyed the movie very much.

WOW! Looks very interesting! I have only been to a theater once in my life at 12… not sure I want to go back 😉 BUT almost could to bring this movie to theaters 🙂

Just in case you are wondering, there are no inappropriate previews playing before this film. I know that the nasty previews turn many people away.
It does look interesting, but I doubt I'll ever go to a theater.
I watched the trailer and thought, "wow, I wonder how long until it comes out on DVD?" and then saw that your other two commenters had similar thoughts. It's too expensive to take my kids to the movies, and I'd want to share this with them. Looks like a good one. I recognize one of the actors.
We recently watched this movie as a family and really enjoyed it! The entire production is very well done and I enjoyed the historical facts that !prompted the intriguing storyline too! How wonderful to enjoy the product of fellow believers who share Biblical values! May the Lord bless them for their diligent work in portraying the Gospel in such a beautiful way.
