These encouraging Bible verses for special needs life come from my desire to bring strength & hope to other moms like me!

We are a family with several medical and special needs. I know that having children with special and/or medical needs can be very tiring and hard!

Since our oldest was born in 2005, we have been thrown into a world of hospitalizations, nebulizers, inhalers, food allergies, gastric/jejunal feeding tubes, multiple medications daily, never-ending doctor appointments and therapies, sleepless nights, nonverbal children, unexplained crying, pain, global developmental delays, chronic vomiting, and so much more.

In addition to having multiple children with varying medical/special needs, I also have an autoimmune disease myself. We have a lot going on.

In the early years, I felt so alone and hopeless. I spent a lot of nights and days in tears wondering how we could endure any more of the unknowns, the (not so fun) surprises, another scary diagnosis, the adjustments, the immobility, the loss of a normal life, and so on.

I am so thankful to say that my faith has grown by leaps and bounds over the last 10+ years as a special needs mom! Again and again, God has shown His faithfulness to our family. We have learned so much and changed so much from the life we are living with our children.
